Position: Cyber Security Analyst

Location: Hyderabad

• We are seeking a competent Cyber security Analyst to join our growing team! If you have API testing experience, a basic understanding of SOC operations, and familiarity with open-source tools such as Wazuh and ELK Stack, we’d want to hear from you. This is a flexible, full-time employment that provides remote work alternatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct API testing to uncover vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and security issues in various apps.
• Assist in monitoring and analysing security events and incidents from a SOC standpoint.
• Use open-source security tools like Wazuh and ELK Stack for threat detection, analysis, and reporting.
• Contribute to the development and management of security dashboards, reports, and warnings.
• Help discover, document, and resolve security vulnerabilities and incidents using APIs and system integrations. Job opportunity for Cyber Security Analyst
• Collaborate with the team to continually improve the security posture.
• Keep up with the newest security risks, trends, and vulnerabilities.

Key Requirements:

• 1+ year of cyber security experience, mostly focused on API testing and security.
• A basic understanding of SOC operations and workflows.
• Understanding of common API vulnerabilities (e.g., the OWASP Top 10 for APIs) and testing methods. Job opportunity for Cyber Security Analyst
• Experience with API security testing tools (such as Postman and Burp Suite).
• A strong awareness of security measures and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a remote, adaptable work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cloud security, web application security, and endpoint protection.
• Relevant credentials such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar are advantageous.
• Strong communication skills are required for effectively reporting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
